First let's talk about Richard Fletcher
After having traveled around a lot in his youth, Fletcher came to Phoenix in February 1979 where he became a manufacturer of special cars for the cinema and actors. He built things like the longest Ferrari F40 World, the largest convertible in the world (with a land size of volleyball within), and a car Eiffel Tower 12 meters high.
He built cars from scratch and amends other. It makes a lot of sculpting with foam and merging together different pieces of cars. These buildings take one to six months of work. From 1999 to 2006, he built eight cars. Three of the cars, Pirate Surfmobile , The Ice Princess et Gothic Coach, are on display today at the Museum Auto Scottsdale Phoenix.

But back to The Ice Princess. This is not a custom of the early sixties, or a dream car fifties, but a car made in the late 1980's from a Studebaker 1950 since.

Fletcher said he did with his Ice Princess a car mid way of the Studebaker streamlined style and futuristic aerospace and vision of some dream cars of the 1950's as Buick Lesabre.
