cant SA – Ramster-X
It was a small company who officiated between 2001 and 2008 Valenciennes and had to project an electric diesel hybrid vehicle called the X-Ramster.
It is possible to find some traces on the Internet in the category of amphibious vehicles. It’s a small ATV truck in 8 WD. A diesel engine drives a generator 42 kW and 400 V 50 Hz three-phase.
2 electric motors, one on each side, fitted with reducers. The total reduction ratio is 1/50 which gives a high torque (700 m and) on a row of wheels.
Unlike a standard ATV,lThe Ramster-X does not take a turn by cutting power on one side, but by reducing the speed on the inner wheels and increasing the speed on the outer wheels.
The gear change is controlled by the two synchronized variators and these are controlled by the brake pedal, the accelerator pedal and the steering wheel .
It maintains the torque on each side of the vehicle, while saving energy.
L’ excess energy ( slowing down / braking) is sent to a common bus which is connected between the two drives . This allows the sharing of energy between the two motors.
In case of braking, this system is also used, it avoids the use of mechanical brakes.
Compared to current legislation, real brakes were still installed, but are only used in case of emergency braking.
The Ramster-X runs at a maximum speed of 70 km / h and carries a payload of 800 kg.
Length: 4875 Width : 2500 Height : 2400 mm
plateau : 1900 x 1300 mm
In theory, it’s a very nice thing, the only concern is that it was never built and remained in the prototype state. The company Dévers SA no longer exists.
Thanks to Nicolas Trémérie who provided the images following an internship at Dévers in 2001.

Hello
I take care of the site, but i don't sell anything, Dévers SA closed in 2008, I have no contact with them. If however you manage to contact them, it would be nice to warn me, thank you.
