Snova-Mobile – Chevrolet Nova 1970 to 6 wheels
In 2005, an ad was placed on eBay for a Chevrolet Nova from 1970 converted to a giant snowmobile !

A really unique machine that was interesting. The constructor (Stretch master) was from Cedar City (Utah), and reported spending more than 1 000 hours to create the Nova. She then had a Chevy engine 400 Small Block sur les 3 axles of 6 rear wheels that held the tracks.

Adam, a member of the Nova Listserv club, said it was not the first time he encountered this thing, he had seen this monster under construction off a highway in Utah and had taken the few photos.

Stretch master said that the Snova-Mobile was used a lot in the snow and that he passed it to 72 km / h in 3 meters of snow.

A priori it had been auctioned at 1000 $ in 2005 and had no takers. In 2013 the auction has reached 2 225,00 $, but was not sold, because the reserve price of 2500 $ was not reached.

This one-ton Snow Mobile is still for sale today even if it is in a sorry state. It no longer has an engine because its designer needed the engine for a different project he was working on, and the tracks seem to be in bad shape, and the back of the elongated body is completely empty, there are not even side windows.
There is still a lot of work to be done to use it in the first limousine service in Antarctica !
Its designer said : "The Nova snowmobile is my creation !! It was really fun to do! I built it several years ago, even the visor was built by me. I only used 1 nova for this creation ».
