Renault 4 GTL 6 wheels – Jurica Bizjak – 2017
Jurica Bizjak, old 66 years, City Zlatar in Croatia is car collector. He already had 3 vintage cars, Mercedes, Pontiac and Chrysler.
He dreamed of having a car as not everyone, a 6 in particular wheels ... And he had an idea, build himself a Renault 4 to 6 wheels. He thought he would be the first to do so. Unfortunately for him, we all know in SixMania.fr it has already been done, we know at least 3 Other models ... But, This will be the first in Croatia !
Apparently he matured his plan for a year, and sought the right R4 models. And he bought 3 for a pittance. He chose this car model as it was very popular, occurred during 30 years, and easily repairable, and we still find 4L parts easily in Europe.
He carefully removed all the cars to retrieve only the best parts of each, just to repeat that, to 6 wheels.
The engine remained the original one, R4 GTL de 1,1 L – 34 cv, with a consumption of about 6 or 7 liters 100. It can reach 125 km/h.
1000 hours of work were needed to build the "Little Diva".
Inside the car was retyped, the back seat was retained, 3rd axle gives it a huge trunk.
He had chassis length issues for the transition to Croatian Mine, He then had to be assisted by 2 companies specializing in automotive. This is the 3rd passage 4L 6 wheels was finally accepted.
One day, a man met on a Croatian highway has offered to buy him his yellow R4 42.000 € and Jurica refused, he would never sell !
