Porsche 928 6 wheels
Porsche
who, in the years 80 in had the crazy idea to transform a Porsche 928 in 6 wheels ? It's me ! oto6, to serve you ! I know, the result was heartbreaking, and what remains of it as, small pieces… (31/12/2005)
Fortunately some malicious mechanics have been there to make a Porsche 928 Pickup in 6 wheels
Rather successful compared to mine, non ?
After two years of hard work, the dream car of Harry was finally finished : Porsche 928 Pick-up 6 wheels. The chassis has been lengthened by about 70 centimeters. In the beginning, there were still traction problems as it is June 1×2, but after a few trials Harry solved the problem. He increased the power of 350 CV 390 CV, while keeping the general line of the car. The base model, is a Porsche 928 GTS.

Colani chez Porsche (10/03/2008)
3 Colani designs dating from April 1983 subject to Porsche (calender # 13) what could beings Porsche Formula 1 and on oval track. Benedict Dujardin thank you for the scans.
The formula 1 is essentially equipped with a central mast that allows the pilot to have a panoramic view of what is happening to the rear just looking up and also has a body that follows the pilot's helmet.
For the two other projects submitted for Porsche, the drivers are no longer central positions to minimize the centrifugal force of American oval, The tailpipes are directed upwards to enhance the downward thrust of the rear cars.
Colani is due eight wheels pointing out that in fact the total surface of the tire is the same as on a traditional F1, its goal is to prove that it is possible to better balance throughout the car and get a much better distribution of masses. Notice also the camber oriented tires to counteract the centrifugal force.
A priori, no project has been selected !
T80 on the 8 wheels is not there by chance, it is the name of the Mercedes record described in the site, we now know where Colani went for inspiration !
