It was built in two black copy, personally, I saw a white on Avenue de la Grande Armée in Paris 1980. Would the white a third copy or two repainted ? In fact there has been a third, built without permission Jankel, with a fiberglass body, it is not known what became of, rather to Bulgaria anyway. The second belongs to a Prince of the United Arab Emirates.
The choice of the configuration of the Panther 6 wheels was not done at the base for technical reasons, but for aesthetic reasons, but once built car, at least 10 benefits emerged through 6 wheels, handling, grip on the asphalt, acceleration and braking, inter alia. The car's designer, Robert Jankel to wanted a sports car able to match Ferrari or Lamborghini, with room for luggage and luxury Rolls Royce to the board. It was after a great price formula 1 or ran a Tyrrell P34 that Jankel was the idea of 6 wheeled his future car. It is thanks to Pirelli he could to mount wheels 205/40 r13 front, and of 265/50 r16 rear, Dunlop Good-Year and unwilling to engage in these sizes. The Panther is capable of lightning acceleration thanks to its enormous engine 8,5 liter but has a very secure braking system which has proved very effective.
The image that traces the cars 6 inspired wheels P34, it would add to the C6W Covini top !
